Jason Clarke, Daniel Kaluuya, Zoe Kazan, Frances McDormand, Laurie Metcalf, Kumail Nanjiani, Sam Rockwell, Ray Romano, Saoirse Ronan and Allison Williams also will introduce their nominated films at the Jan. 21 awards show.
A slew of awards season familiar faces — including Mary J. Blige, Jason Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Holly Hunter, Daniel Kaluuya, Zoe Kazan, Frances McDormand, Laurie Metcalf, Kumail Nanjiani, Sam Rockwell, Ray Romano, Saoirse Ronan and Allison Williams — will be presenters at the 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
All of the newly announced presenters have been nominated in the category of outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture and will be introducing a clip from the relevant film at the Jan. 21 event, which will be broadcast on TNT and TBS.
“At its best, the cast of a film shapes the story into a believable world that reflects the reality of every character’s life,” awards show executive producer Kathy Connell said. “This award recognizes those cast performances that embody why acting is a collaborative art.”
The new batch of presenters joins previously announced presenters Halle Berry, Dakota Fanning, Lupita Nyong’o, Emma Stone and Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s Kelly Marie Tran.
As previously announced, the SAG Awards will feature all female presenters announcing the winners in 15 categories. Kristen Bell is hosting the event, and Morgan Freeman will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri leads the way with four nominations, including best ensemble and acting noms for Frances McDormand, Harrelson and Rockwell. On the TV side, Big Little Lies nabbed four noms, including recognition for stars Laura Dern, Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgard and Reese Witherspoon.
